JDRF Charity fundraising event Friday 16th June 2017 auction in aid of Juvenile diabetes research foundation blog post by Jenny Potter Photographer. Tonight 3 of the photos I took of The Red Hot Chili Peppers that were signed by Anthony, Chad and Flea are being auctioned off at an official JDRF event. I am a excited as to what money they will raise for this amazing charity which I have supported for 7 years since my son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 2 years of age. It is now Thursday 22nd June 2017 I have waited until now to contact Esi at JDRF to find out how the auction went. Just received back a lovely email from Esi so happy and can't thank The Red Hot Chili Peppers for all their help. Have more auctions later in the year for JDRF, Teenage Cancer Trust and also next year for www.capes4hereos.com
Apologies for the delay in my response, I am pleased, on behalf of JDRF, the type 1 diabetes charity to express our sincere gratitude to you for supporting our fundraising event, The JDRF Charity Shoot which took place on Friday 16 June 2017.
Thank you, once again, for so kindly donating your prize, a 'set of 3 signed individual photographs of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers band members; Anthony Kiedis, Chad Smith and Flea.' to our silent auction at the event.
We are pleased to confirm that your prize raised a total of £650 which is fantastic and we are really very grateful for your generosity.
Although we still have some accounting to do, our initial figures show that we raised £22,000 gross from the event which simply would not have been possible without your support.
We are delighted with the total raised which will help JDRF to continue our work in trying to improve the lives of those people affected by type 1 diabetes and to find the cure.
Your support of JDRF is enormously appreciated. It is a relationship that is highly valued to us and one which we hope we can continue to build on for many years to come.
I will be in touch shortly regarding arranging delivery.
