Just in the last two weeks we have seen in the news that both Keith Flint Lead Singer of The Prodigy and now Mike Thalassitis from Love Island and also a former football player. have taken their life. I did not know these people personally however I had the honour of photographing Keith Flint. These two amazing people had things going on in their lives that none of us could have imagined that the outcome would be what it was. I have personally had 4 people in my life an artist, a client who’s brother is the best friend of my husband , and two other people I know sadly their life ended this way). I know what devastation is left behind for families I also know what it is like to comfort and support friends who have lost their child. With the right help amd support you will be able to move forward. I am just a person l I have no medical qualifications but I felt I needed to post this so that if there was anyone out there who needed support they would do their best to speak to someone and tell them they are having a difficult time with something in their life. Everyone seems to paint a perfect picture on social media on what life is meant to be like when in reality yes celebrities, musicians, actors, writers can suffer from depression, rejection, ill health, lonliness just like the rest of the world can.
Please if you are going through a tough time talk to someone phone your friends and if when your friend answers the call they are busy tell them to stop what they are doing and give you support they will be glad to help or phone a help line, go to your nearest hospital or GP and tell them what is going on so you can get the support you need. I understand how difficult it can be to carry on when you loose a loved one but your life is worth while you are important and many people love you. I have friends now that I support as they are grieving for loss of their child, their wife, their mother. With the right support you can help your friends, loved ones get through these times.
